When: Spring 2019
Team: a few Parsons and LCCS students
My role: guiding the LCCS students and creating the assets
Story: For Earth Day, a few students at LCCS and Parsons teamed up to start a conversation regarding water pollution. We came up with the idea of helping people visualize the consequences of water pollution through an immersive experience.
The Concept:
We wanted to demonstrate the ocean with and without waste and ended up using RGB filtering glasses to create the effect. The viewer was able to see different worlds by closing one eye.
Putting it Together:
The students at LCCS drew all the assets and did the voice overs which I then animated to be projected onto the dome. The tech team built the underwater world in Unity and we collaborated to reach the perfect balance for the glasses.
